Can my Visit be billed to my medical insurance? Most of the time this is possible. However, it depend on the reason of your visit, insurance coverage, and the diagnosis. We can bill any insurance for you but, will require payment up front for out of network insurances or if deductibles have not been met.
What is a "deductible or co-pay?" Most insurance require you to pay a certain portion for your care before coverage starts. This could be a co-pay or a deductible. For example, if your deductible is $1000 you will be required to pay this much for all medical visits before your insurance will start payment. Even then, your insurance probably does not cover 100% and you will still owe some amount. Unfortunately, due to significant challenges in healthcare our office requires payment upfront when deductibles have not been met.
Will my visit be covered 100%? Insurance rarely covers all of your health care costs. Most insurance have co-pays or deductibles which must be met before other payment is made. Please call your insurance for your exact payment requirements. Your co-pay or other amounts will be due at the time of service. Any portion billed to our insurance and deemed your responsibility will require payment within 30 days of notification.
