(Hours & Location)
Hi Everyone!
This is Samantha, from Joliet EyeCare Associates,
On Sunday, May 6, 2012, I'll be
one of thousands of individuals across America walking to create a world free of
MS. I walk for two of my very good friends’ mothers, Nancy Lunt and Debbie Weiss.
Their struggle with MS has inspired me to get up and get moving!
I'm writing to ask you to consider making a donation on my behalf to the National MS Society, Greater Illinois Chapter--and to also consider Joining the Movement and registering for the Walk MS!
WHAT IS MS?
Multiple Sclerosis is an often debilitating disease which interrupts the
flow of information between the brain and nerves which control the body as well as
the eyes. This can cause loss of movement as well as significant vision changes including
vision loss. It affects 20,000 people in Illinois and 400,000 people nationally.
Every hour someone is newly diagnosed with MS :(
Every dollar raised will help the National MS Society help people by funding cutting-edge
research, driving change through advocacy, facilitating professional education, and
providing programs and services that help people and their families move their lives
forward.
