Sudden double vision

- Partial or complete loss of vision in one or both eyes, sudden dark shadow or curtain across vision.
Severe eye pain
- Sharp or throbbing pain, light sensitivity, headache, nausea.
Chemical exposure
- Burning, tearing, redness, blurred vision after contact with chemicals or cleaning products.
Eye trauma / blunt injury
- Trauma from objects, sudden vision changes, swelling, bruising, blood in the eye.
Foreign object in the eye
- Feeling something in the eye, tearing, redness, pain, difficulty opening eye.
Flashes or floaters with vision loss
- Sudden increase in floaters, flashing lights, shadow or curtain in vision (possible retinal detachment).
Eye infection with rapid progression
- Redness, swelling, discharge, pain, blurred vision.
Traumatic eye bleeding or hyphema
- Blood in the front chamber of the eye, vision changes, pain.
Sudden double vision
- New onset double vision, drooping eyelid, or other neurological symptoms.
Corneal ulcer
- Pain, redness, sensitivity to light, blurry vision, white spot on cornea.
